Welcome to Interactive Video Academy
Interactive Video Academy is a new resourceful platform designed to help motivativate, encourage, and guide you towards succes.
Our goal is to help self-employed, including sole proprietorships, freelancers, and independent contractors, by sharing the steps, processes, and essential news and information that we believe will support you on your journey. To help get the ball rolling, we’ve decided to launch the site now. The site was initially only going to focus on interactive video content. Next was to focus on children’s eLearning using animated interactive video content. Then the plan expanded to helping entrepreneurs and self-employed by utilizing interactive video as the foundation of our content. We’d develop 2 dozen how-to courses before going live. However, that wouldn’t be completed for a few more months. And based on some of the comments on our personal YouTube videos, it’s clear that many self-employed individuals feel like they’ve been neglected and need help now. Hopefully, our experiences and knowledge will help.
By no means are we experts. We’re also trying to figure it all out. Therefore, we welcome your thoughts and suggestions if you believe they will indeed be helpful. We don’t claim to know all of the answers, and maybe we aren’t always offering the best solution for a particular problem that our viewers are experiencing, which is why your input is also necessary for this site to be the best that it can be. Engage with our polls, surveys, Like videos, and leave comments with feedback letting us and others know that a particular course helped you to achieve your goal.
More to Come But First:Stimulus Package Help for Self-Employed
Our founder got approved for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL), and Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) programs. So moving forward, the plan for the site is to focus on the stimulus package content that he has already created on his personal Youtube page mixed with new content that will be developed exclusively for Interactive Video Academy. There are a lot of moving pieces with this whole stimulus package situation, so we’re hoping to help you navigate this unknown territory.
So first things first, if you work for Uber, Lyft, Taskrabbit, Fiverr, Doordash, Instacart, or do your independent contractor work around your town or city, then you are considered self-employed. No, Uber or Lyft are not your employers. You are the boss. Since you are self-employed, you might still qualify for the PPP, EIDL, or PUA if they are still accepting applications at the time you’re reading this.
