The last day to apply for the PPP – Paycheck Protection Program is June 30th, 2020.
The PPP was designed to help small businesses which include independent contractors, sole-proprietorships, freelancers, and self-employed. In other words, if you are part of the gig economy and work on Fiverr, Taskrabbit, Uber, Lyft, Doordash, Instacart, or some other app or gig platform than you might be able to qualify for the PPP loan. This is basically free money that you don’t have to give back if you spend it properly.
